Summer Neurofeedback Program Resolves ADD/ADHD and Provides a Lasting Improvement in Learning
by Ivan Poturica BA

The ADD Centre is offering an accelerated program to resolve attention and hyperactivity problems. In 6 to 8 weeks the child learns how to focus, concentrate, hyperactivity will disappear and no medication may be required for school in fall (96% of children). The training is called Neurofeedback. This is a learning procedure that allows people to learn to self-regulate their brainwaves to achieve a mental state that is relaxed, alert and focused. This is the state that is optimal for learning, playing sports or music. The person learns what concentration feels like and also can recognize when they are tuning out in order to stop their minds from wondering and to stay on task. The child is empowered to perform at their true potential without having to rely on medication.

Investing in neurofeedback training for children and adults pays back with academic and work success. Research carried out the ADD Centre shows increases in academic test scores (for children): (WRAT 3) averaging 6 standard scores and IQ scores on the WISC-R of 12 after training. (Research Study available) Other long term studies have shown increases of up to 1.5 grade points.

For children with learning difficulties or learning disabilities we offer the Braintrain Captain's Log cognitive training program. This clinically proven game-like software provides more than 1000 hours of systematic multi-level cognitive training.

Children build and enhance the skills needed for academic and life success - memory, attention, listening, self-control, mental processing speed, and more at home on your computer. The Federal Government provides valuable tax benefits for learning disabilities. Both Medical Expense and Disability Tax Credits are available. Stop ADD/ADHD and empower your child or yourself to be in control for a lifetime!
