DAYCAMPS:

Mad Science Day Camps 10

Rocket Science Camp is back!

Here at Mad Science we're looking forward to bringing back our original Rocket Science camp. This is the camp that made summer an exciting time for our budding Mad Scientists. Each day has its own theme from Heat (with humongous solar balloon to solar ovens to cotton candy) to Ice (of course Dry Ice and to top it off we make ice-cream without a machine!) and Bugs; join us on a bug safari and the campers design a bug habitat. And on the final day we have a spectacular rocket launch... parents welcome. In addition, each camper will make his/her own rocket to take home and launch! (Under supervision, of course.) If you missed it last year, come get Energized!

Last year we introduced Energize It! and due to its success we are back for another year of energizing fun and excitement. At Energize It! camp we learn about alternative energy such as Solar, Wind and blast off Hydrogen powered Rockets (our campers actually help make the hydrogen fuel!) We will also engage in other forms of Earth Awareness such as making our own paper and return to the days of the pioneers as the campers design and make their own water filtration systems. Discover the way in which our bodies and its functions determine why we are good at some sports and not others. See how an animal's unique characteristics aid in supplying energy for their survival as we simulate their jaws and claws and forage for food. Come get energized!
